
The following were the new set of PTA officers elected on June 23, 2010 by the classroom representatives:
President - Aloysias Galvez
Vice President - Danny Sabino
Secretary - Kathy Galvez
Treasurer - Joy Abear
Auditor - Mylene Conception
Public Information Officer - Joven Teves
Immediately after the meeting the officers convened and discuss the following:
1. Gather feedback and possible activities that the PTA will be engaging aside from the calendared activities. Initial gathering can be through a suggestion box, through email and through text or call (suggested to have a cellphone and an account number), website (www.scwapta.blogspot.com), and a letter to the parents with reply slip.
2. First officers meeting will be held on the third week of July. By this time, suggestions and feedback were already substantial. Included agenda will be the discussion of the feedback and suggestions from the parents and setting regular meetings.
3. A suggestion to have a table near the holding area for the "Parent of the Day" was brought out to bring the parents' concerns & suggestions immediately and closer to the school. Volunteer parents will be assigned later.
4. The website www.scwapta.blogspot.com will be the platform of PTA for information dissemination, feedback gathering, and archiving of PTA activities.
